Starbucks, Reminiscing, Good Times

Went to meet Chris yesterday afternoon. I was so excited to meet and see him again. It's been 9 years since we last saw each other, when were just in high school. We never really hung out one on one back in high school that much, and this would be a good opportunity to see how he's changed and what he has been up to all these years. We agreed that I would go to his house, pick him up, and we would go get coffee from Starbucks. I picked a Starbucks that was one of the larger ones in the area, so that we could talk and not worry about people bothering us, since the one in the mall is always super busy and loud.

He was wearing gym shorts and an orange shirt. He looked extremely hot, he may have even been hotter than he looked back in high school. I was so excited to meet him again. You could smell his cologne, and overall I was so excited. I drove us to the Starbucks, and he offered to pay for our drinks. I ordered a Java Chip Frappuchino and he ordered a Vanilla Chai. We sat down and talked for awhile about what we've been up to and just reminiscing on the past.

What's funny was he use to work at this Starbucks location we went to. He knew the girl behind the counter, but forgot her name. Man, if I knew he worked at this Starbucks I probably would have bumped into him much sooner, but I usually don't frequent Starbucks that often.

He seems to have grown up, based on what he's been saying. He no longer drinks (he use to be a little bad in high school) and seems to have changed for the better and has some goals set for himself in regards to college and a future job.

After talking over our coffees, I asked what he would like to do next. I have a conference to go to in just over a week and needed some nice clothes to wear to it. He agreed that we could go to the mall next and he'd help me pick out clothes to wear. It was so much fun meeting up with him, and we headed off to the mall next.

We walked around in the mall and went to Macy's. I knew generally what I wanted to buy since I saw some nice things when I was there a few weeks ago. I found the shirt I had my eye on, but I needed a shirt to go underneath, and also a pair of nice jeans.

Macy's had some DKNY jeans on clearance for just $20, so I picked up a pair, and Chris picked out this really nice orange shirt for me. (He likes orange I think!) I then picked out a white button down shirt to go on top of the orange one. It was so nice to have someone with me to pick out some clothes to wear. It was a ton of fun hanging out.

After shopping, we headed back to his house so I could drop him off. I had such an amazing time with him and the time flew by being with him. I was happy to have reconnected and to be asked to hangout almost right away after talking again after 9 years.

We ended our "date" with a kiss. He complemented me on my kiss and said I kiss good. I told him no way that I don't, since the kiss was quick and I was super nervous and excited at the same time. I smiled and drove home. I'm falling for Chris..
